About Dr. Mann

As medical director of Garden State Pain & Radiology Center, which provides state-of-the-art diagnostic imaging and pain management services in South Jersey, Dr. Dharam Mann oversees the only dual-modality medical centers of their kind in the area. A diplomate of the American Board of Anesthesiology and the American Board of Pain Medicine, he prides himself on having built a practice of pain manage- ment specialists, radiologists and nurse practitioners, enabling patients to have their pain issues diagnosed and treated in one location. His col- leagues include Drs. Manjula Singh, Sunita Mann and Vikash Panghaal.

Offering a multidisciplinary approach to pain relief, Dr. Mann recognizes individuals’ unique needs and takes time to speak honestly with patients about their concerns, assess the cause of their pain, educate them about treatments and develop a personalized treatment plan. He provides both traditional and alternative solutions, including nonpharmacologic strategies, injection therapy and medications, as well as mini- mally invasive procedures such as spinal cord stimulation and endoscopic discectomies, which he performs at the Manchester Surgery Center in the Whiting location.

A four-time recipient of the Patients’ Choice Award and also honored with the Compassionate Doctor Award, Dr. Mann volunteers annually at a health camp in India. “The most rewarding aspect of my job,” he says, “is when patients smile and thank me for helping them.” MEDICAL TRAINING: Post Graduate Institute of Medical Sciences, India (MD); Saint Barnabas Medical Center (surgical internship, anes- thesia residency); Massachusetts General Hospital (fellowship in cardiac anesthesia).
