Day 7- Venice

The dreaded 5:45 a.m. wake up call came and we started the day with a three-hour bus ride to Venice.

What is the smallest republic in the world? If you guessed San Marino, then you are correct. We spent the day in San Marino and it really is a nice country.

Day 5- Parma

It is now shortly after midnight here in Parma and another day of Italy has come to a close. The team just stepped on the bus for a three hour ride to our next stop – San Marino.

We just stepped on the bus after playing our first baseball game in Italy. It could not have gone any better.

Gearing Up for the Trip

 Over a year of planning, fundraising, hard work and dedication and finally the dream of the Rutgers Newark baseball team is coming to fruition. On Thursday we will be taking off from Newark Airport for a 10-day trip to Italy.
