Atlantic City Hilton Casino Resort

Located at the southern end of town, the Atlantic City Hilton Casino Resort, formerly known as Golden Nugget Atlantic City, was the first casino in the area to be built from scratch as a gambling resort.

Opened in 1980, it features 800 deluxe rooms, a giant casino, a 9,000-square-foot climate-controlled indoor pool, and seven restaurant options.

CASINO: The 75,374-square-foot gambling center offers favorite slots and table games, including blackjack, craps, roulette, baccarat, poker, along with a state of the art gaming room for Asian games.

DINING: Upscale cuisine at Peregrines’ featuring signature seafood dishes, Oaks Steakhouse for New York-style prime beef, or Frank Sinatra’s favorite, Patsy’s Italian Restaurant, for home-style Italian favorites.  More casual and affordable options include the Cornucopia Buffet with all-you-can-eat specialties such as steamed clams, fresh fish, shrimp, and carved turkey for only $14.95, Cappuccino's for coffee, espresso, breakfast breads, pastries, soups, and sandwiches, and Horizons, open 24 hours a day for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, and featuring the Coney Island Deli.

ENTERTAINMENT: The Hilton Theater (seating capacity of 1,420) features music concerts and comedy shows. Past performers include Patti LaBelle, Wayne Newton, Jerry Seinfeld, and Sinbad.

NIGHTLIFE: The Oaks Bar serves specialty martinis along with made-to-order sushi and create-your-own-burgers. Hilton Beach Bar, open in the warmer months, is known for  live entertainment and special events as well as tropical drinks with tropical names like Man Overboard and Coco Nutts.

SPA: At the 13,000-square-foot Health Spa, you can enjoy a tropical garden setting and hand-painted murals, along with workout rooms, massages, a sauna, steam room, and a hot tub.
