Showboat Atlantic City – The Mardi Gras Casino

With a Mardi Gras theme, the Showboat is currently the northernmost casino resort on Atlantic City’s Boardwalk, and features more than 1,300 rooms, a rooftop swimming pool, state-of-the-art fitness center, and the House of Blues music venue.

CASINO: Classic table games and slots, and a Poker Room located in the House of Blues.

DINING: With New Orleans-themed restaurants, the cuisine of Showboat focuses on Cajun specialties. The French Quarter Buffet’s fine dining offers “Big Easy specials” on Saturday nights with all-you-can-eat lobsters for $29.99. Casa di Napoli is known for its brick-oven pizza, and Canal Street Bread and Sandwich Company has gourmet crepes, or healthy salad or sandwich combinations. For steaks, chops, chicken, and fresh seafood like the Hereford beef, try the Rib & Chophouse

ENTERTAINMENT: It is all about Southern hospitality at the House of Blues at Showboat, the popular music venue that hosts acts ranging from R&B to heavy metal to folk.

NIGHTLIFE: For nighttime fun, try the three-story nightclub, Club Worship, located in the House of Blues; Masque Bar with $8 hurricane drinks, and $4 refills all night; the 12 Bar in the casino; Spirit Bar; and the Foundation Room.

SPA: The 3,500-square-foot Vive Day Spa and Salon features a Chakra Relaxation room, a full-service hair and nail salon, and body treatments including the new Vive signature seashell massage and facial.
