NOTE: THE 2016 RESTAURANT POLL IS NOW CLOSED. CHECK FOR THE RESULTS IN OUR AUGUST 2016 ISSUE.
The Jersey Choice Restaurant Poll is your chance to help select the Garden State’s best dining spots. By submitting a ballot, you become eligible to win dinner for two at the restaurant named Best of the Best in your region. The winner will be chosen in a random drawing. (NOTE: It is not necessary to vote in every category, but you must vote in at least 10 categories to be eligible for the drawing.)
DEADLINE: Midnight, February 28. One vote per email address please. Limit one submission per household or location. Restaurants are welcome to distribute links to this ballot, but restaurants assisting in the submission of ballots will be disqualified. Serial votes from the same IP address will be disqualified.
HOW TO VOTE: Use the drop-down menu for each category to find the name of your preferred restaurant in that category. If you don’t see the name, scroll to the bottom of the list and click “Other.” This will open a set of new boxes where you can type in a restaurant name and town.
CHAINS: Local chains appear as a single entry on each drop-down menu; it is not necessary to specify the location. National chains are not eligible, except in the chain category.
Restaurant Poll winners will be named in the August 2016 issue of New Jersey Monthly.
Votes will be tabulated by WithumSmith+Brown, PC, a full-service public accounting and consulting firm with 550 staff in New Jersey and five other states.
You have places listed that were gone before Sandy. You may want to update this.
You have restuarants listed that are not open yet.
And,at least 1 that is hasan;t been open in a long time.
For best of the best, you have Highland Place in Maplewood as one of the choices to vote for. That place has been closed for over a year now.
My submission is not finished, yet it is rgarded as “finished” How do I get it back?
Can you please email me at [email protected] and explain further? I’d be happy to help!
Please add Yogic Chai Montclair to the list of coffee/tea bars!
I noticed that Doris and Ed’s in Highlands was a choice for “Best Wine List.” Not only has the place been closed since Hurricane Irene, but has been torn down.It had a great wine list when it was open, and was our favorite seafood restaurant, too.
Please add MAD(West New york, nj). I feel it ‘s more of a Modern deli but the food is off the hook 🙂
