Jersey Shore Wine Weekend Comes to Long Branch

The Jersey Shore Wine Weekend will be held February 19 and February 20 at the Ocean Place Hotel & Spa, One Ocean Boulevard, Long Branch. On Friday, the four-course Great American Steakhouse dinner will be paired with wine; 6:30 to 9:30 PM; $85, includes tax and gratuity. On Saturday, there will be wine seminars, tastings and a cooking demonstration from 10 AM to 4:30 PM. That evening a Grand Tasting, from 6 to 8 PM, will include a premium wine table. COOKED AND UNCORKED FIREFIGHTER COOK-OFF & FOOD AND WINE FESTIVAL
On Monday, February 29, twenty New Jersey fire departments will compete for the best Firefighter Chef at the Cooked and Uncorked Food and Wine Festival, which will be held at the Pines Manor, 2085 Rt 27 Edison. Ten contestants will compete in the “Gourmet” section and ten will compete in the “Firehouse” section and attendees will vote for their favorite chefs. There will also be 35 restaurants and 30 tables offering wines, spirits, beers and cordials.
