Montclair Food & Wine Festival Hosts Frost Bites

New Jersey native and Food Network star chef Amanda Freitag will take part in a meet-and-greet that will also feature food from many local purveyors.

Tickets are now on sale for Frost Bites, which will be held on January 28 at The Women’s Club, 200 Cooper Avenue, Montclair. A VIP meet-and-greet with New Jersey native and Food Network star chef Amanda Freitag will be part of the event, and attendees will take home a copy of her new book, The Chef Next Door. The evening will also feature small-bite fare from Ani Ramen, Applegate Farms, Ariane Bar & Kitchen, Blue Jay Syrup, Burg, Costanera, Dolce Federica, Escape, Fitzgerald’s, Java Love, Mish Mish, Miss Nicky’s, Pig and Prince, The Orange Squirrel, Villalobos and Vital Dining; wine from Amanti Vino; bubbles from Taittinger and music from Julie’s Party.

VIP tickets gets you early entry at 6:15 PM; $135. Sip, savor and enjoy time mingling with chef Amanda Freitag before the crowd arrives. All VIP tickets will receive a copy of her new book, The Chef Next Door: A Pro Chef’s Recipes for Fun, Fearless Home Cooking. General admission 7:30 PM, $75; with copy of chef Freitag’s book, $95.

FEAST OF SEVEN FISHES INSPIRED BY MARIO BATALI COOKING CLASS AT HEIRLOOM KITCHEN
Impress your family and friends by serving a Feast of the Seven Fishes dinner that is celebrated on Christmas Eve in many parts of Italy. On Wednesday, December 16, Heirloom Kitchen, 3853 Rt 516, Old Bridge, will offer a hands-on class where attendees will learn how to make Mario Batali’s Feast of the Seven Fishes.
