New Executive Chef at Blue Morel

The Morristown restaurant will be helmed by Bobby Varua starting in mid-April.

Chef/director Thomas Ciscak, has announced that as of mid-April Bobby Varua will be the new executive chef at Blue Morel Restaurant and Wine Bar, Westin Governor Morris Hotel, 2 Whippany Road, Morristown (973-451-2619). A graduate of The Art Institute in New York City chef Varua was previously executive chef of the Madison Hotel in Morristown. A new menu is expected to be launched in May.

EXECUTIVE CHEF CARL MESSICK OFFERS DINING DEAL
For the month of April, executive chef Carl Messick of the Peter Shields Inn & Restaurant, 1301 Beach Avenue, Cape May, is offering a $40, three-course, prix-fixe menu all night, Monday through Thursday. Throughout the year, this promotion is offered Sunday through Friday from 5:30 to 6:30 PM for $40. Reservations: 609-884-9090.
