Reboot For a Dale Talde Eatery in Jersey City

Carrino Provisions, co-owned by celeb chef Dale Talde, will soon reopen with new design, menu and name.

Carrino Provisions, 8 Erie Street, Jersey City, a restaurant/market, will close in a few weeks and reopen about five to ten days later, after a quick redesign, with a new name and concept.

“This will be a neighborhood place where diners can come for a burger or beer or a three-course dinner with wine,” said co-owner David Massoni. “Additionally, there will be a large selection of whiskeys, bourbons and Jersey micro-brewed beers.”

Like Carrino Provisions and its next door neighbor, Talde Jersey City, the new restaurant and bar will be owned and operated by the Three Kings Restaurant Group—owners chef Dale Talde, John Bush and Massoni, along with partners Anthony Carrino and John Colaneri of HGTV fame.

Talde said, “We are very excited about the new restaurant and hope that Jersey City will feel the same way. We’ve really come to love the neighborhood of Harsimus Cove and hope that our friends and guests come to love this new project as their new home away from home.”

The new restaurant will have a big bar with some TV’s and a quieter dining area in back. Talde’s menu will feature his twist on the cuisines of America’s various immigrant cultures.

Talde’s first cookbook, Asian American, is now available from Grand Central Publishing.

Three Kings will open Talde Miami Beach in early November in the Thompson Miami Beach Hotel at 4041 Collins Avenue, Miami Beach, Florida.
