Table Hopping: New Menus at The Manor, Restaurant Latour

Chef de cuisine Mario Russo from The Manor in West Orange and executive chef Anthony Bucco from Restaurant Latour in Hamburg are offering new menus. Spring is here!

CHEF MARIO RUSSO, THE MANOR, WEST ORANGE
Chef de cuisine Mario Russo is serving a new dinner menu in The Terrace Lounge at The Manor, 111 Prospect Avenue, West Orange. Menu items include: handmade torchon; veal medallions topped with crabmeat complemented with polenta cakes, pattypan squash, sweet caramelized cipollini onions, and a roasted-garlic sauce; and citrus quinoa with dried cherries and almonds, medley of grilled vegetables, blood oranges and a ginger-lemongrass sauce. On Saturday night. beef Wellington and on Sunday, lobster thermidor are offered. Chef Russo uses vegetables and herbs picked daily from The Manor’s farm and greenhouse at the Pleasantdale Château. Pure mineral water is served from wells that have been used for over 100 years. Reservations: 973-731-2360.

EXECUTIVE CHEF ANTHONY BUCCO, RESTAURANT LATOUR, HAMBURG
Executive chef Anthony Bucco is offering two new menus at Restaurant Latour, 1 Wild Turkey Road, Hamburg A five-course “Anthology” menu has choices from five different categories: Harvest, Aquatic, Grazing, Cheese and Dessert; $115, with wine pairing an additional $55. The seven-course Chef Degustation “Relishing” menu is $145, wine pairing an additional $65. Latour is open Thursday through Sunday from 5 to 10 PM and reservations are required (855-421-1059).

JIMMY ALVARADO IN NEW JOB
Jimmy Alvarado, who was previously executive sous chef at the Harbor View Hotel in Maratha’s Vineyard and chef de cuisine at MAE Restaurant in Jersey City is the executive chef at Due 360, an Argentine/Italian tapas restaurant at 50 Maple Street, Summit (908-608-0222); BYO. Mondo Z, previous owner of Bella Nottes Alta Cucina in Little Falls is the chef/owner.
