WOOD STACK PIZZA KITCHEN
Wood Stack Pizza Kitchen, a 7,000 square-foot restaurant with a liquor license, has opened at 29 Rt 46 East, Pine Brook (973-227-3007). Menu items include meatballs, salads, pizza, pasta and entrees, such as roast pork shoulder, fire-roasted chicken and daily fish specials. Desserts include a maple budino, strawberry shortcake, bomboloni and s’mores pizza. Open daily from noon.
PAY WHAT YOU WANT AT BLU AND NEXT DOOR IN MONTCLAIR
Through August 30, when both restaurants will close, Blu (556 Bloomfield Avenue, 973-509-2202) and Next Door (556 Bloomfield Avenue, 973-744-3600), both in Montclair, will be offering an eat-what-you-want-pay-what-you-want promotion. The menu will include a combination of dishes from Blu and Next Door and owner/chef Zod Arifai has a rule that you must eat everything you order otherwise you cannot order more. Both restaurants are BYO.

Noce 77 (Italian for walnut), offering modern Italian cuisine, has opened at 77 Walnut Street, Montclair (973-233-1019); BYO. Dinner is served Tuesday through Sunday.
Seed to Sprout, a vegan eatery, juice and smoothie bar, has opened at 560 A River Road, Fair Haven (732-268-7533). Open Tuesday through Sunday, 9 AM to 3 PM.
Viva Bigotes, offering Mexican food, has opened at 110A Brighton Avenue, Long Branch (732-272-1014); BYO.
Asian Fusion cuisine is offered at the newly opened Wild Bamboo, 8 Ocean Avenue, Long Branch (732-222-2893); BYO. Open daily from 11:30 AM.
CLOSINGS
Forte, Point Pleasant has closed. The restaurant will reopen after renovations, with a new name and a concept similar to Harpoon Willy’s in Manasquan, which is owned by the new proprietors.
