Dec. 4 & 12: It’s the most wonderful time of the year to catch a seasonal concert by the Orchestra of St. Peter by the Sea. Led by Father Alphonse Stephenson (former conductor of A Chorus Line on Broadway), the Bay Head-based orchestra of nearly 50 musicians brings holiday cheer to Monmouth University (Dec 4, 8 pm; $38. 400 Cedar Ave, W Long Branch. 732-263-6889; monmouth.edu/arts); the Union County Performing Arts Center (Dec 12, 8 pm; $27. 1601 Irving St, Rahway. 732-499-8226; ucpac.org); and about a dozen smaller venues throughout the month (732-920-4444; orchsp.com).
