Feb 11-12: What do you get when you cross a clown with an electromagnetic particle accelerator? The Newark Museum and Ringling Brothers Barnum and Bailey are joining forces to bring you Circus Science, an interactive showcase that teaches kids the science behind their favorite circus acts.

Feb 11-12: What do you get when you cross a clown with an electromagnetic particle accelerator? The Newark Museum and Ringling Brothers Barnum and Bailey are joining forces to bring you Circus Science, an interactive showcase that teaches kids the science behind their favorite circus acts. Admission to the museum also buys you one ticket to either a clown performance or a magic act. Other events will include balloon art, face painting, plate spinning and much more. 10:30 am-4:30 pm; free with admission. 49 Washington St, Newark (973-596-6550; newarkmuseum.org).
