Dec 16: Now in its 13th year, the Pipes of Christmas concert will feature holiday music accompanied by a selection of readings from Celtic literature at Central Presbyterian Church. Featured performers include Andrew Weir from the film Braveheart; Local Hero, a Scottish country dance trio; the Solid Brass ensemble; harpist Jennifer Port of Golspie, Scotland; and the Kevin Ray Blandford Memorial Pipe Band of Redlands, California. 8 pm; $50-$250 (proceeds benefit music scholarships). 70 Maple St, Summit (908-273-3509; pipesofchristmas.com).
