Oct 9–10: The Atlantic County 4-H Fairgrounds hosts the seventh annual South Jersey Pumpkin Show, featuring a pumpkin weigh-off, a Little Miss Pumpkin Pageant, and a pumpkin dessert contest. Come enjoy the live music, home expo, and more than 125 crafters. Kids will love the haunted village, scarecrow contest, face painting, rides, and free pumpkins given out to the first 100 children each day. A portion of the proceeds will benefit the Atlantic County 4-H Fair Association, as well as the Scott R. W. Bailey Trust, in honor of the festival founders’ son, who passed away earlier this year at age 15. 10 am–6 pm; $2. Rt 50, Egg Harbor (sjpumpkinshow.com).
