July 4: We love, no lie, the Fourth of July! The Oceanfest Independence Day celebration packs family-friendly fun onto Long Branch’s oceanfront promenade.
Stroll among food and arts vendors, catch circus and magician acts, bop along to live music, or play in the annual three-on-three basketball tournament. End the day at 9 pm with one of the largest fireworks displays at the Shore. 10 am–10 pm; free. The Promenade, Long Branch (732-222-0400).
