Mar 18: Musician Duncan Sheik returns to New Jersey to promote his latest album Whisper House at the South Orange Performing Arts Center. The Montclair native, who scored a major hit in 1996 with “Barely Breathing,” has also made a name for himself on Broadway, writing the music for the Tony Award-winning musical Spring Awakening. 8 pm; $28–$48. 1 Sopac Way, South Orange (973-313-2787; sopacnow.org).
