Lucas Worth (formerly of Morristown) is on the Walking with Dinosaurs tour as “Huxley,” a paleontologist who narrates the show. “You really just have to say ‘wow,’” he says. “The dinosaurs look amazing, even up close. They have personality and their subtle movements make them appear very life-like.”

Sept 2–6: If you want to feel really small, venture back to a time when dinosaurs ruled the earth. You’ll cringe, but learn a lot when Walking with Dinosaurs: The Arena Spectacular stomps into Atlantic City for eight performances at Boardwalk Hall.

The show is based on the award-winning BBC television series and is now touring North America. About 170 million years are covered in 96 minutes. You’ll meet fifteen life-size animatronic dinosaurs that mimic the motions (and roars!) of the real prehistoric giants. Look for the Stegosaurus, Allosaurus, and many more species, and try not to duck under your seat when the mighty T-Rex makes his grand entrance. Wed–Fri, 7 pm; Sat, 11 am, 3 pm, and 7 pm; Sun, 1 pm and 5 pm; $19.50–$49.50. 2301 Boardwalk, Atlantic City (800-736-1420, boardwalkhall.com).
