July 16-17: Since 2004, comedian Joel McHale has roasted celebrities and pop culture as host of E!’s no-holds-barred weekly recap show The Soup. Today he’s a star all his own, wrapping up his first season as lead of the new NBC hit comedy Community. At the newly-opened Jockey Hollow Bar & Kitchen in Morristown, I was handed a cocktail called a Cannon Ball Shrub, named for the restaurant's spirited owner, Chris Cannon. Made with gin, the drink had pungency, fruity sweetness and a tingle from a splash of sparkling wine.
