Talkin' 'Bout My Generation

Sept 4-5: In 2005, Robert and Kim Grom held a concert with local musicians at their farm in Frenchtown that about 100 people attended. Five years later, this small gathering has grown into a Christian music festival and one of the state’s largest summer events (more than 25,000 fans attended last year).

Five years later, this small gathering has grown into a Christian music festival and one of the state’s largest summer events (more than 25,000 fans attended last year).

On Labor Day Weekend, the Grom’s 140-acre Revelation Farms hosts the 5th annual Revelation Generation, now featuring national bands including Switchfoot, Underoath, Relient K, and Flyleaf (pictured), along with speakers, children’s activities, and extreme sports demonstrations. Fri, 4–10 pm; Sat, 11 am –10 pm; $40–$75. Frenchtown (908-483-2203; revgen.org).
