Meet the courageous souls willing to take part in our online fitness challenge. Nine participants from around the state, and two trainers from Life Time Athletic, round out our group. Here they are...
Do you like this story?

Catchi Tomas, 36, Millburn, legal administrator:
“I just don’t want to fall back into the cycle of losing and gaining and losing and gaining. And I want to run the NYC marathon.”
******************

Hannah Arnstein, 35, Madison, stay-at-home mom:
“I’m sick of going to stores where they don’t have my size. I want to look better, feel better, have more confidence, and be able to get up in the morning and throw something on without worrying.”
*************

Joe Rotundo, 51, Warren, systems integration consultant:
“When we’re all through, I’d like to run a marathon in under four hours.”
************

Maryanne DuBois, 32, Warren, stay-at-home mom:
“I’m a former athlete trapped in a stay-at-home-mom’s body. I want to play soccer again.”
************

Adrienne La Rosa, 40, East Hanover, photographer and mom:
“I’m 40 and I’d like my 30-year-old body back. And then I’d like to go shopping for an entire new wardrobe at my husband’s expense.”
************

Paula Ortiz, 38, Berkeley Heights, special education teacher and mom:
“I’m hoping that when I take my kids to the pool this summer, I can wear a bathing suit and feel totally comfortable.”
************

Ken Schlager, 58, Montclair, editor of New Jersey Monthly:
“I want a fitness regimen that will help me stay active for many more decades—and maybe even get back to playing in a softball league this spring.”
************

Richard R. Barr, 46, West Orange, kitchen and bath designer:
“I’d like to fit into my old 34s! And I want to run a half marathon in 2010.”
*************

Sandra Lee, 40, Whippany, small-business owner and mom:
“I want to set an example for my children.”

Rosie has the latest news on NJ restaurant openings and closings.
From soup to Superman to the Super Bowl-winning Giants, the Garden State’s impact on contemporary culture is clearly evident in the 2012 class of New Jersey Hall of Fame inductees, announced today. www.NJHallofFame.org.
You begin to notice something unusual about these memorials...photographs of the deceased...
This week everything seems to be “super” to me, from Jersey’s own Super Bowl champion Giants (hooray!) to a category of wine called Super Tuscans.
For the past year I’d heard rumblings that it might happen, but earlier this week the state's plans were revealed—Rutgers-Camden is going to become part of Rowan University.
