Honey-Mint Lemonade

Two readily available ingredients, honey and mint, add personality to this picnic favorite, frosty lemonade.

Ingredients:

2/3 cup of fresh whole mint leaves
6 cups water
1 tablespoon honey
1 12-oz. can of frozen lemonade mix
1 lemon, sliced 1/4-inch thick

Preparation:

Add mint leaves to 2 cups of water and heat just until boiling. Simmer on low for another 3 minutes. Strain out the mint, stir in the honey, and cool. Add frozen lemonade to the minty liquid along
with the remaining water.

Refrigerate and serve over ice. 

Garnish with lemon slices and additional fresh mint.
