Recipe: Summer Berry Smoothie

Here's a delicious and satisfying shake that happens to be good for you.

Toss back this concoction and feel refreshed, maybe even rejuvenated. Smoothies promise to nourish, energize, and detoxify with their heavy concentrations of free-radical-fighting antioxidants, vitamins, minerals, and live enzymes.








Serving Size:
Makes two 8 oz. portions

Ingredients:

1⁄2 cup strawberries
1⁄2 cup blueberries
1⁄2 cup pomegranate juice
1    cup ice cubes
1    tablespoon flaxseed oil
1    tablespoon ground flaxseeds
1⁄2 cup Greek-style yogurt
2    tablespoons whey powder

Directions: Combine all in a blender and mix ’til smooth,
about 2 minutes.
