Giving Back: Punkin Chunkin Raises $3,200 For St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital

1. Truck-Pulling Competition Drives in Funds

Eighteen team members from AVE Flexible-stay Accommodations—with three locations in New Jersey— competed in Move For Hunger’s 2nd Annual Jersey Shore Truck Pull. Teams pulled a 26-foot truck, tug-of-war style, in three heats to raise funds for the nonprofit, which focuses on ending hunger in New Jersey. The team also helped collect 1,000 pounds in food donations.

Morristown Neighborhood House Volunteers of the Year Award recipients Suzy and Ken Press enjoy the 2015 Neighbors Helping Neighbors gala. The event raised $135,000 to support after-school programs at the nonprofit.
