Diamond Dream Opens New Showroom

Diamond Dream Fine Jewelers, a family-owned jeweler in the heart of downtown Bernardsville, is celebrating 30 years of business with a new look and a cool showroom expansion.

Husband-and-wife owners Edward and Faina Shapiro have gone above and beyond by transforming their second floor into a chic clothing boutique that’s chock-full of designer apparel and accessories. Dresses, blouses, skirts, coats, handbags, scarves and gift items are a welcome addition to the first-floor collection of fine jewelry and timepieces.

The new showroom, called Diamond Dream Jewelry and Apparel commemorates the store’s 30-year anniversary. Be part of the grand opening during a week-long celebration from October 24 through October 31 and enjoy generous gift certificates toward all showroom merchandise on both levels, refreshments, and jewelry and clothing trunk shows.

A portion of the proceeds from the celebration will benefit Bernardsville-based Heartworks (one of my fave organizations), an acts-of-kindness group that provides support for people living in crisis and in need of hope. Diamond Dream will also host a private anniversary celebration and will donate additional proceeds to Heartworks. The business was honored by New Jersey Monthly as a finalist in the 2015 Great Oak Awards, a program that recognizes the state’s most philanthropic companies.

“We’re so proud to celebrate 30 years in business,” says Edward. “This is an amazing milestone for Diamond Dream and we are so grateful to the community and all of our loyal customers who have supported us over the years.”

“What better way to look to the future than to expand and offer our clients an even greater selection of unique, statement-making apparel to our already recognized luxury jewelry and timepieces,” Faina told me.

What a stunning addition to downtown Bernardsville!  For a fun experience, visit Diamond Dream, then have lunch at the nearby Bernards Inn or Osteria Morini, and don’t forget to stop by Studio 7 art gallery and Laura Clare’s sweet shop full of gorgeous floral designs and home decor.
