All-American Designer: Meet Cranford’s Own Jude Connally

If your closet is chock-full of Trina Turk and Lilly Pulitzer designs, your spring wardrobe will welcome just-picked fashions by Jude Connally...

I really loved writing my style feature for our March issue because Jude and I had a rendezvous at Windswept Boutique in Mendham, and I was lucky enough to preview her amazing Spring 2013 collection.

Seeing all those pretty tunics, dresses, tops, pants and vests in one fell swoop made me feel a little weak in the knees, I must admit. All her bright colors and playful patterns are like eye candy…and each piece is just sweet enough. Best of all, Jude’s collection is designed to be machine washed and dried. That means no dry-cleaning bills, girls…and more time for springtime FUN.

Read all about Jude’s exploding popularity in my article, and see more fashion images there. I’ve also included a few of my favorite looks in this blogpost.

Besides Windswept in Mendham, you can find Jude’s collection at Preppy Palm in Swainton, D.J. Crater in Chatham, the fab new Jude Connally flagship store in Westfield, and other fine boutiques in New Jersey. Or check out judeconnally.com.

Look out, Trina and Lilly. Jude is picking up speed…PLUS, everything she designs is 100 percent MADE IN AMERICA. But that’s only fitting for America’s next top designer, right?

Happy shopping,

Susan
