Sunday in Summit: Stylist Eddie Ross!

I’ve been doing a happy dance ever since getting my invite to meet super-stylist Eddie Ross at Summit Antiques this weekend.

Hang out with Eddie Ross, the East Coast editor of Better Homes & Gardens, at a festive book signing party on Sunday afternoon, December 13, from 12:30 to 2:30.

This is your chance to snag a signed copy of his new book, Modern Mix: Curating Personal Style with Chic & Accessible Finds, published by Gibbs Smith. (Purchase the book at Summit Antiques Center’s Green Zebre shop or bring your own copy.) Light refreshments will be served. The event is free of charge.

Eddie has also worked as a design, decorating and food editor for House Beautiful, Martha Stewart Living and Food Network. And you’ve probably seen him on Bravo’s interior design competition series, Top Design, and on HGTV. His irrepressible, high-end decorating style is achieved on a crazy-tight budget, with most vintage goodies unearthed at flea markets and thrift shops. (Discover where he finds stunning furniture, rugs, lamps and tabletop pieces and your jaw is likely to drop.)

I will definitely be there to support this special event and scope out the deals at Summit Antiques Center. Loyal readers know that I love getting high style at a good price (and I get weak in the knees every time I rummage through Goodwill, find sale remnants at Calico, and uncover red-tagged treasures at HomeGoods).  If you missed our Good Stuff Cheap: Best Bargains in NJ issue, check it out here.

Be sure to RSVP to Green Zebre shop owner Whitney Davis at [email protected] or 917-519-3483 if you plan to be there.  Summit Antiques, located at 511 Morris Avenue in Summit, will be open to holiday shoppers from 11:00 to 5:00 this Sunday.
