Wrembel is a French guitarist who lives and plays in NY (and spends a lot of time in Maplewood, NJ). He channels Django like few can--he's lightning fast, swinging, soulful, but not just an imitator. Wrembel is a complete musician, and a beautiful soul.

I first heard him play a year and a half ago in Portland, Maine, and he totally blew me away. He rarely plays in NJ, so if you're around Maplewood on Wednesday night, check him out.
