Diddy’s New Ride Rolls Into NJ

It was an over-the-top evening of sushi and supple leather recently inside a private hangar at Teterboro Airport. Although guests mingled among sleek aircraft and toured XOJET’s Bombardier Challenger 300, one of the fastest corporate jets in the world, the star of the evening wasn’t a plane, but an automobile.

Bentley, official sponsor of the event, unveiled its just-off-the-assembly-line 2012 Continental GT that was about to be delivered to Alpine resident and entertainment icon Sean “P. Diddy” Combs. Diddy’s shiny new toy—the first available model in the U.S.—was the center of attention during the reveal party.

While friends and media looked on, the long-awaited Continental GT (worth about $220,000 with all the bells and whistles) was unveiled by Cristophe Georges, Bentley Motors president and COO, and Dan Daly, general sales manager of Paul Miller Bentley Parsippany, one of the leading Bentley dealerships in the country.

Boasting a top speed of 198 mph, the Bentley has a sculpted body, jeweled headlamps and a handcrafted cabin. Guests were quick to pose in and around the vehicle as they schmoozed with local celebrities and listened to Diddy’s hit, Comin’ Home.

The soiree was co-sponsored by XOJET, Double Cross Vodka and Caesars Atlantic City, and organized by Maria Cucciniello of the Hip Event in Montclair.
