It’s Betsey’s party, and she wants you to celebrate with her.

Betsey Johnson, the ultra feminine designer best known for her fabulous party dresses, is kicking off her 30th Anniversary with a signature sale that begins today at her stores in The Mall at Short Hills and The Pier Shops at Caesars in Atlantic City.

The party culminates on August 7, with a bash at the stores beginning at 4 p.m., and chances to win big BJ prizes.

If you’ve never had a Betsey, think bows, brightly colored sparkling bags, hot heels, and a bevy of prom-like dresses that will capture your teenager’s attention — and  eventually yours.

Johnson’s fashions are the product of her designing roots in the sixties, with hippie-influenced colors and lines. She’s re-invented herself time and again by staying ahead of trends and capturing the fun, friendly and frivolous side of fashion.

There are ten special anniversary items to help you get into the party spirit. They include  signature socks and retro pink sunglasses, like the ones pictured. A sparkly watch, a pearl-studded tote bag, and embroidered thong are also included.

Buy them, and you’ll instantly join this fashion sorority populated by celebrities like Rihanna, Paris Hilton, and Blake Lively.

“Life’s a prom,” said Johnson, a breast cancer survivor and grandmother, as she presided over her spring collection. And this is one dance, where you don’t need a date to join the fun!
