Dine Like a CEO, Eat Like a Rock Star

Everyone knows where the CEOs eat in the city. The Four Seasons, Smith & Wollensky, Oceana, Per Se… But where do they eat in New Jersey?  Here’s a hint: they eat where they live.

Down the Shore, they are in the palatial estates of Rumson. In northern New Jersey, you find them in mansions overlooking the sprawling hunt-ready fields of Morris and Somerset counties.

One favorite is Le Petit Chateau in Bernardsville. How do we know? We ate there recently, and sat just fifteen feet away from the newly-minted CEO of a Very Big Wall Street Firm.

This charming and French-faithful eatery — recently anointed with a rare four-star rating by the finicky Star Ledger — caters to the corporate elite. Our friend chef/owner Scott Cutaneo hasn’t succumbed to the new fusion cuisines or the other food fads. The CEOs want a great meal, with the noblest wines, and the best service. That’s what they get here and so will you.

In Rumson, they eat at Fromagerie, sometimes at a table next to a rock star. How do we know? Chef/owner  David Burke is our friend too, and connected to both corporate leaders and Big Name rockers. He keeps all his customers happy with his whimsical takes on the most basic foods.

What do the rich and sometimes famous feast on at Fromagerie? Take a look at David Burke’s newest video exclusively on NJ My Way, and learn how to cook it yourself.

There you go… dining like a CEO and eating like a rock star. All without ever crossing the river. Just make sure you call for a reservation. They’ll make a place for you right next to their favorite customers.
