The Bag Lady

April 28, 2008 06:50 AM ET | Permanent Link

Even with a recession, a designer handbag at half price is too good to resist!

Imagine…Gucci, Louis Vuitton, Chanel. Some new, some slightly used. Plus vintage handbags in mint condition. Deep discounts. Hundreds of bags to choose from. And thanks to your connections… you are the first to know about this fabulous sale in Fort Lee.

Nancy Olicker
, the fashionista founder of Sample Sale Productions, has set her sights on the Garden State. Her very first sale in New Jersey begins Friday May 16 and continues through Saturday at the Holiday Inn in Fort Lee (2339 Route 4 East). See Nancy’s website for details.

There will be handbags, designer sunglasses, and some clothing. This time of year beaded tunics are especially popular.

Olicker’s sales have become legendary on Long Island. Despite little advertising or advance notice, shoppers line up before the doors open to scoop up bargains. But this is the first time she’s brought her road show to New Jersey.

How do you know you are getting the real thing? For one, the dealers are all carefully screened, and the products money-back guaranteed. Many handbags come with original certificates. Nancy says Adrienne Astrologo, author of the book  High Fashion Handbags, will be a major vendor at the New Jersey sale.

Put this sale on your calendar and let us know how it goes. We hope you’ll come away with a great deal!

Gucci America, Inc. v. Olicker et al

Sorry,
Does anyone know why Gucci filed a Trademark Infringement Lawsuit in the Southern District of New York against Nancy Olicker? I am unable to find out the specifics as to why the suit was filed, but I noticed it was filed three days ago. Thanks.

Your website

Hi,

Do you have a website for viewing your bags or do you only sell them in hotels.

Thanks,

Jill
