Scaregoose on Duty

April 29, 2008 08:27 PM ET | Levin, Eric | Permanent Link

The most famous scarecrow of all time was Ray Bolger in The Wizard of Oz, but in these parts we have a bigger problem, geese, and are still trying to find effective ways of scaring them.

The scaregoose in this picture was one of many on duty the other day at King Solomon Cemetery in Clifton. There were no droppings in sight anywhere, though whether that was thanks to the  black cutouts or to the maintenance staff is unknown.
