First Street, Newark - New Jersey Monthly

Driving along First Street in Newark yesterday,

returning from a doctor's appointment,

came to a red light.

I looked left, saw what you see here..

Rolled down window.

Reached for camera.

At least three cars behind me.

The lane to my right, going in same direction, closed on account of construction.

Got this just as light turned green.

Didn't get honked at.

Thank you, patient drivers of Newark.

Have no idea what I just passed, because I hadn't passed it yet, and because it probably no longer exists.
