Summit Sundown So Long

June 22, 2008 08:18 PM ET | Eric Levin | Permanent Link

Do you like this story?

I was thinking it was time to head home when the streetlights came on. And then the yellow lights in the brick building.

I took the hint.

But what a lovely moment as Summit and the rest of our restless time zone rolled imperceptibly away from the source of day it will roll by again, like the bowling ball in the Busby Berkeley dream sequence in The Big Lebowski..

So, back to the original question:

Can you identify the site in Summit where these Plain Sight pictures, shown over the last few days,  were taken?

A hint, if you're into hints:

The church in the background of this picture faces a large cathedral just to the left of where I was standing, but out of the frame.

Breakfast at the Summit Diner is on me for the first person to submit the right answer. Fill in the form below.

Eric - My answer is the US Post Office on Maple St. Hope it's right. Let me know. Frank

Summit Sundown Site

Frank: It's not the Post Office. And Mrs. Scully, it's not the firehouse.

But I am tickled that the two of you responded. So I will say this much: You're both close, but not equally close.

If I say which one of you is closer, I'm afraid I'd make it too easy. So I'll leave it at that for today.

Again, thanks for entering the Summit Diner Breakfast Sweepstakes.

Try again.

Best regards,
Eric
