Wet Screws

July 09, 2008 08:58 PM ET | Levin, Eric | Permanent Link

Lots of places are fun to traipse around after a storm. Parks are great, especially when it's foggy. Playgrounds can be magical.

But one of my favorites is construction sites.

Light loves wetness and cameras love light.

Aside from the luminosity of wetness (think of how your skin looks when you emerge from an outdoor swimming pool), things that become drenched and waterlogged can look like weird terrariums lacking only a tiny pet store turtle..

Like this box of nails or screws lying in the mud.
