At this pig roast, they served some mighty fine swine, making hogs of us all...

Two 70-pound porkers fed more than 100 people--students and their friends and parents--at the big grass roots event at our son's college graduation a couple weeks back.

I remember the first time I saw a pig roast. A group would have one on a Saturday in August in Avalon Campground. My brother and I would keep looping by on our bikes to look at it. Grossly fascinating to pre-teens.

Galvanized wire can actually leave toxic residue on meat.
