Haddonfield is aglow this time of year with Friday-night lights – and holiday deals.
Every Friday night leading up to Christmas, merchants in downtown Haddonfield will stay open late and add extra holiday sparkle by lining the sidewalks on Kings Highway and its side streets with hundreds of tea lights in white paper bags.
“Late” is relative. Most Haddonfield shops typically close around 5 or 6 pm, but the candlelight shopping promotions will have many stores staying open until 9 pm to cater to the holiday crowds. Shoppers also will find bands, choirs, and carriage rides around the downtown area to add to the holiday cheer.
