Two feet of snow? Not entirely amusing.
If you live in New Jersey, you were socked with snow over the weekend. I live in Collingswood, which is one of the towns that seems to have gotten the brunt of the storm. Based on a ruler in my backyard, we got 25 inches.
I can’t remember the last time we had this much snow, and I’ve lived in South Jersey most of my life. My dog, can’t either. She’s generally a snow fan, prancing and hopping, and rolling around in the stuff. But when it comes up over her head, she’s spending a lot of time indoors.
The aftermath has been tough. I got my car dug out, but my street hadn't been plowed. My front steps have been a sheet of ice all week. As much as I’d like a White Christmas, I’m looking forward to warmer temperatures and rain that will clear most of this away at the end of the week.
What a way to start the winter. Happy Holidays!
