Starry Night Gala Benefits American Cancer Society in Style

What fun we had at the American Cancer Society's Starry Night Gala in Gladstone. Lots of nice people getting together for a great cause amid fine food, wine, auctions and oldies tunes...

It was a celebration on so many levels. 2013 marks the American Cancer Society’s 100th year. And the sixth annual Starry Night Gala once again inspired and united Morris, Somerset, Hunterdon, Warren and Sussex counties to honor those who battle cancer, spread the word about prevention, and raise money to find cures and operate programs for those facing the disease.

The event at Hamilton Farm Golf Club in Gladstone was kicked off with an elegant cocktail reception, and then we all enjoyed live and silent auctions, a gourmet dinner and entertainment by the Cameos. By the end of the night, everyone was on the dance floor.

New Jersey Monthly was a media sponsor for the event.

I must tip my hat to some of the chairs and committee members who made it happen: Barbara Sellinger, Nancy Audet, Cherie King, Debra Lightner, Susan Townsend, Robin Albers, Nancy Marino and Emily Nelson. And thanks to photographer Jerry Dalia for all the nice images I’ve posted here!
