Simple Summer Style Tips for Beach or City Fun!

You've asked for my hottest, most wearable style tips for the summer, and here they are!

1. All white. Monochromatic looks are always chic. Make it all white and add chunky jewelry and cute sandals.

2. Prints. Florals and tribal patterns are super popular, so pick up a couple of print dresses to get you through the summer.

3. Maxi. Bring out the boho with a long skirt or dress. Maxis make everyone feel like a teen.

4. Orange. So wearable and fun. Orange T-shirts, sandals, totes and nails!  One of my fave summer looks is orange pedi and blue mani.

5. Braids. Go ahead. Wear a side braid, back braid or even double braids or pigtails. Especially in humidity, this look will get you through the summer.

Also, I realize that a lot of style editors are focused on stripes this year. But let me tell you something…horizontal stripes are less than flattering for a lot of people, so tread carefully there. Just because you read about stripes (or any other trends) in fashion mags doesn’t mean they will work for you. Always go with what you feel and look best in, regardless of what style mavens suggest.
