Oscar Stars Twinkle in Tiffany Jewels

Some of my favorite Hollywood celebs personified the magic of Oscars night, thanks to glamorous gowns and amazing Tiffany bling. So many stars, so many baubles, where shall I begin…

Let’s start with two-time Oscar winner and this year’s presenter for Best Actor, Cate Blanchett. You might recall that last year she ruled the red carpet in a glammy, gold Armani gown. (Word on the street is that it was the most expensive ensemble worn to the Academy Awards in 2014.) But this year, she did an about-face with a simpler, subtler look in basic black with edgy, frayed shoulders by John Galliano. Cate complemented her high-necked gown with a fabulous Tiffany & Co. statement necklace created from turquoise, aquamarine and diamonds. Gotta love that splash of brilliant blue!

Reese Witherspoon fans missed her at the 2014 Oscars, but she made a sensational showing at this year’s star-studded event. Nominated for a Best Actress award, she turned heads in a dramatic white-and-black gown by Tom Ford, embellished with diamond earrings, bracelet, ring and a blue diamond ring, all by Tiffany, of course.

One of my fave gowns of the evening was rocked by risk-taking Emma Stone and she totally pulled off this tricky, trendy color. Her red hair was just the right counterpoint for the long-sleeve, chartreuse Elie Saab gown, accentuated with Tiffany diamond cuffs and emerald-cut diamond stud earrings. Her dress and jewelry garnered almost as much attention as her nomination for Best Supporting Actress for "Birdman." Although she didn’t win the acting award, she got bonus fashion points for her bold gown and bright lips.

Although the Academy Awards are over until next year, you can still explore these and other glitzy Tiffany Blue Book looks…a girl can dream a little, right?
