Troy Unruh is the executive chef at the Light Horse Tavern, 199 Washington St, Jersey City (201-946-2028).

Chef Unruh was previously executive sous chef at Mario Batali’s Del Posto. He also trained and worked under Eric Ripert at Le Bernardin and Jean-Georges Vongerichten at Jean-Georges. He is originally from St. Paul, Minnesota, where he attended the St. Paul Tech Culinary School. He currently lives in Jersey City and bikes to work.
