ATLANTIC CITY FOOD FESTIVAL
From June 26 to 28, the Toast of the Coast 2008 Food & Wine Exhibition will be held at Bally’s Casino, Atlantic City. The event will feature food and wine tasting exhibits, culinary demonstrations, celebrity chefs including Giada De Laurentiis, pool-party tastings, a cigar beach party, a gospel brunch, and many other fun activities. LATOUR, RIDGEWOOD
Latour, 6 East Ridgewood Avenue, Ridgewood, is offering a five-course prix-fixe tasting menu with choices on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays from 5 to 10 PM and on Sundays from 4 to 9 PM. Menu choices may include: lump crabmeat strudel; lobster bisque with Armagnac; frisée salad with blue cheese, julienned apples, honey-glazed hazelnuts, and apple cider vinaigrette; and escalope of veal citron with caramelized grapefruit, white Burgundy reduction, vegetable of the day, and garlic-whipped potatoes. CRAWFISH SEASON
