Maria Giordano is the chef at Jack’s Cafe, 684 Bloomfield Ave, Verona (973-239-5321); BYO.
He’s back, and we couldn’t be happier. Walter Leffler is the new director of food, beverage, and culinary operations at the Olde Mill Inn and Grain House Restaurant, 225 Rt 202, Basking Ridge (908-221-1150). Chef Leffler, a graduate of Johnson & Wales, was previously executive chef at the Palace at Somerset Park, the Seelbach Hilton Hotel (Louisville, Kentucky), and the Hilton Short Hills. Watch Table Hopping With Rosie for information on the newly redesigned brunch, lunch, and dinner menus at the Grain House. A to-go menu will also be introduced soon.
