Jeffrey Orel is the executive chef at Rod’s Steak & Seafood Grille, Madison Hotel, 1 Convent Rd, Morristown (973-539-6666). Chef Orel, who headed his own company, Hospitality Consultants LLC, before joining Rod’s, was previously operations chef for McCormick & Schmick’s Seafood Restaurant Group. He earned a business degree from the University of Florida before graduating from Johnson & Wales University at the top of his class.
Scott Cutaneo is no longer executive chef/owner of Equus and Claremont Tavern in Bernardsville. A new executive chef has not been named, according to general manager Matthew Veltri.
