Chutney & Company, a modern Indian restaurant, has opened at 4 Park Ave, Madison (973-845-2769); BYO.

Fin Raw Bar & Kitchen, 183 Glenridge Ave, Montclair (973-746-0611), has been opened by Gerry Cerrigone, who’s also responsible for the very popular and excellent Salute, an Italian restaurant just a few doors away. Fin specializes in fish, although meat lovers have some options as well; BYO.

The Italian Bistro, 441 Raritan Ave, Highland Park (732-640-1959).

McLoone’s Boathouse has opened at the South Mountain Recreation Complex, 9 Cherry Ln, West Orange (732-380-0800), offering family-friendly American cuisine.

Salt Studio, 4 Lenape Rd, Andover (973-347-7258), will be used for pop-up restaurants/theme dinners, private parties, culinary instruction, events with guest chefs, cookbook signings, and culinary movies/television shows. Seasonal parties will also be held for sports, community, and political events.

True North Osteria, a casual restaurant offering soups, bruschettas, salads, grilled pizzas, and small hot and cold plates, has opened at 345 Bloomfield Ave, Montclair (973-744-4960); BYO. It will have counter service with a runner to bring your food to the table.
