Aqua Blu Kitchen & Cocktails, a cocktail lounge and restaurant, has opened at 3410 Rt 37 E, Toms River (732-270-1180).

Grill Poblano, 47 Park Ave, Rutherford (201-438-2111); BYO.

Kyma, a Greek restaurant, has opened at 24 E Main St, Somerville (908-864-4730); BYO.

After being closed for renovations, Smoke Chophouse, 36 Engle St, Englewood (201-541-8530), has reopened.

Jon Bon Jovi’s Soul Foundation has opened Soul Kitchen, 207 Monmouth St, Red Bank, a community restaurant where there are no prices on the menu and customers pay what they can or do volunteer work in exchange for a family’s meal. The restaurant is open Thursday, Friday, and Saturday from 5 to 7 PM and Sunday from noon to 3 PM.
