OPENINGS
April 2011

Bella Gente Italian Restaurant, 265 S New Prospect Rd, Jackson (732-987-6200); BYO.

Lo Bianco, 20 S Douglas Ave, Margate (609-350-6493), has opened, serving New American cuisine; BYO.

The Grove, a 60,000-square-foot event space, is now open at 691 Pompton Ave, Cedar Grove (973-239-0270), offering catering for up to 750 guests, off-premises catering, and kosher and glatt kosher cuisine.

Strudels, cakes (German chocolate, anyone?), and breads are available at the Old German Bakery, 332 Washington St, Hoboken (201-683-8644).

BBQ fans have a new option with the opening of Manville BBQ, 110 S Main St, Manville (908-450-7545), which offers Uruguayan barbecue made with real wood charcoal.
