Rosie has the latest news on where NJ chefs are manning the stoves.

Barry Bonser is the executive chef at the newly remodeled Candlewyck Diner, 179 Paterson Avenue, East Rutherford (201-933-4446). Chef Bonser has revamped the menu and service and offers some diner classics with a twist as well as modern American cuisine in addition to new cocktails and wine list.

Joseph Catalano is the executive chef at Above, 1 South Orange Ave (second floor of Eden Gourmet), South Orange (973-762-5900). He was preiously the owner of Semolina in Millburn.

Erminio Conte is the executive chef at Lithos, 405 Eisenhower Parkway, Livingston (973-758-1111).

Alexis Lahens is the executive chef at The Cuban, 333 Washington Street, Hoboken (201-795-9899).

Andrew Lattanzio
is the new executive chef at Pluckemin Inn, 359 Route 206 South, Bedminster (908-658-9292). He previously was sous chef to Juan Cuevas for over two years. A CIA graduate and formerly executive chef of Artisan Kitchen chef Lattanzio also worked as a sous chef at the Tewksberry Inn and as chef de partie at Town in NYC.

Michael Merida is the co-owner and chef at Mezza, 31 Westwood Avenue, Westwood (201-722-8822); BYO.

Justin Pehowic is no longer sous chef at Chakra, Paramus.
